For Students

Carreón Foundation scholarships can help YOU attend college or trade school and have a successful career.

Students will be able to apply for 2027 scholarships when the application period opens later this year.


We will share an application link on our website starting in December 2026.

Are You Eligible?

Enrollment

To apply, you must be enrolled full-time in a high school in the Eastern Inland Empire or a 2- or 4-year college or trade school. Applicants can be in their senior year of high school or any year of college, including freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior. There is no age limit.

2.5 GPA

You must have earned at least a 2.5 un-weighted grade point average for all four years of high school work completed.

Leadership & Financial Need

Applicants must able to demonstrate qualities of good citizenship, leadership, and financial need.

Minority Ethnicity

You must be of Mexican/American or other Minority Ethnicity, such as African American, Native American, Asian, etc.

The Carreón Foundation offers scholarships of varying amounts up to $5,000 per year. Students are encouraged to apply for new scholarships annually while in college. We pride ourselves on awarding meaningful scholarships that have a real impact on the lives of our recipients, improving their opportunities for a lifetime.

In addition to financial assistance, we often provide our scholarship winners with post-education job opportunities, training, and career connections.
